Weight loss surgery again
All I want to do is be normal. — Loren Root
I’ve written my passing wonderings about weight loss surgery (WLS) in the past. My feelings have been that it’s not something for me, but hey. To each her own. (And let’s face it: more women than men are having it.)
I think I’m starting to change […]

Update
Sunday: 23 miles with Nicole who is looking great! This was a fabulous hike with good conversation and we were both strong. We were plugging away at hills that killed us just a month or two ago.

While there, […]

Race Day
Each year, our little area has a huge summer party called Venetian Festival. There are several sporting events associated with Venetian, including a 10KR/5KR/5KW. Today, instead of participating, I gave back to the running community and worked a water station.
It was fun to once again be on the other side of the water table, handing […]

Geek alert!
Sorry I’ve been away. When things get busy, I’d much rather be outside and working out than inside and writing about it. But I’m hoping it’s all under control right now.
We’ve talked, you and I, about my Forerunner 201 which I love, love, love. Now comes the ultimate in geeky accessories for the Forerunner. Last […]

More Summer Groove Pix…
None of me that I could find, but for some more pictures from the Summer Groove race, check out this link.
You’ll see shots of so many canoes in the water in the dark, beautiful shots of the marshy wetlands near the end of the canoe, the pink sky as the sun rose, dunes pictures and […]
